Of the major inventions that have come upon us today, there are two which I considered civilization’s leap for humanity and man’s transcendental mastery of the law of the physical world. I am referring to the telephone and the Internet. I subscribe to the fact that both the telephone and the Internet have contributed a lot to the furtherance of human understanding as to the interconnectedness of people and to the continuous quest of technology to revolutionize communication in the global scale. Needless to say, the world has shrunk and has become a little global village with the advent of the telephone and the Internet.
